History of Southern Crescent Care, In-Home Care

Mary Poore first saw the need for quality in-home care when her mother-in-law was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS) at the age of 84. The compassion and excellent in-home care provided through the homecare service enabled her family to deal less with care and focus more on spending quality time together.

In 2004, after working as a social worker in the mental health field for over twenty years, Mary opened her homecare agency in Stockbridge, Georgia. She primarily serves the Henry, Clayton, and Fayette County areas.
